By handing over the dilapidated temple in his compound to the Hindus to offer worship, Hassan Haji, Nediyedath, Vaniyannur, Tirur, Malappuram has shown an innate inclination for religious harmony.

The temple is in Haji’s land.  As far as he can remember, no puja or worship has taken place in the temple.

When his childhood friend Velayudhan Nair and others requested his permission to worship at the temple, Haji immediately agreed.  His father Kunjali Haji had told him to hand over the temple if anyone came forward to offer worship there.

Two weeks ago, Veleyudhan Nair and 3 others cleaned the temple and lit the lamp.

The sanctum sanctorum is circular in shape.  Roof and floor and made of sandstones.  It is not clear which idol was installed there.
