How
would you rate someone who has been offered Government jobs by Public
Service Commission more than 50 times and who has resigned Government
jobs at least 30 times. Meet Ramachandran.P, Pallathil Veettil,
Kanniparambu, Mavoor, Kozhikode, now a Senior Assistant at KSFE at
Medical College, Kozhikode.
To someone who had passed SSLC with 400 marks and who had just scraped
through Pre Degree, taking tuition was an option. However, even when the
students whom he taught, went on to get high posts in Government, he
remained a ‘tuition master’. The real significance of a Government job
hit him hardest when he was on the look out to get married.
That prompted Ramachandran to emulate the students he had taught. He
studied hard and wrote many exams conducted by PSC. And invariably he
got into the rank list of most of them. A few he left without attending
the interview. And a few jobs he left after working for a short while.
In the midst of this he did not forget to continue his original vocation
of coaching students. Besides, he managed to obtain graduation in
Economics and post graduation in English.
This too does not complete the short list of his achievements. Just as
he taught himself to become a Government employee, he taught his wife,
brothers, sister and friends to become Government employees too. His
students have scored first rank in Police Constable test and Village Man
Test.
