When students and their parents in general invest their money, time and effort in coaching classes for professional entrance exams, here is someone who has secured the first rank in the State in the joint entrance exam for IITs, without the help of any tuition or coaching. Raziman, a former student of Silver Hills Higher Secondary School, Kozhikode, was the district topper in the State entrance exam also.
Although he is likely to get admission in any IIT in the country, Raziman in keen to pursue Integrated M.Sc in Physics at IIT, Kanpur.
Earlier, he had secured 595 / 600 in the Plus Two exams - again without attending any tuition class. He is well ahead in co-curricular activities also. Many national and international awards – including gold medal in International Astronomy Olympiad – have come his way. In 2003, the State Library Council had chosen him as the best reader in the State.
Raziman’s father T.V.Sulaiman in a lecturer in Pharmacology at Medical College, Kozhikode and his mother P.Raziyabi is a teacher at the Govt.Higher Secondary School, Pattikkad, Thrissur. His younger brother is a 6th standard student of Silver Hills School.
