PREMACHANDRAN: NUMEROLOGIST WHO MAKES FREE PREDICTIONS OVER THE PHOME | |||||||
|
You wouldn’t be able to meet numerologist Premachandran of Kozhikode for consultation. For this fortune teller does not entertain visitors and shuns publicity. Instead they have to contact him only on the phone. He receives an average of 500 calls a day from all over the globe. He makes predictions on the basis of numerology or the science of numbers. Based on the caller’s date of birth and time, he predicts the person’s future. Apart from intuition, few other factors help in this. They include: the person who is calling, time of the call, the way the caller presents the problem, mannerisms and so on. There are many instances of his predictions having saved lives, he says. Premachandran’s foray into numerology was by accident. In 1959, while he was staying with his brother-in-law at Pune, a neighbour gave him a book on palmistry and asked him to return it after the lender turned 35. Later Premachandran learnt that this neighbour had studied the book and while charting the dates, found that there was little chance of his survival after he turned 35. He was startled when the neighbour died in his sleep after celebrating the 35th birthday. This kindled his interest to peep into the future. His first prediction was about the marriage of an acquaintance’s daughter. Deciphering that the marriage will not take place, he wrote the same in a sealed envelope and instructed the family to open it only after he left the town. The prediction came true. Since then there has been no looking back. Premachandran does not want to commercialise his abilities. He considers his talent as a service to the society. As far as possible, he avoids meeting people. He attends to calls between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Callers who benefit from his predictions thank him over phone and this he considers as the best reward.
