By returning the bag containing Rs.1 lakh cash and 20 sovereigns of gold to its owner who had forgotten the same in his autorikshaw, the driver P.O.Saji, Parassery House, Kundoor, Mala, Thrissur, has placed honesty above the temptation for money.
Mary, a resident of Kundayithara had hired the vehicle to go from Pazhukkara to her residence. On reaching the destination, she had forgotten about the bag. Although the distressed women informed the police, before they could reach the place, Saji had come and returned the bag.
