While 9th standard students usually spend their summer vacation in game and play, Anand Babu of Sarvodaya School, Thiruvananthapuram too dabbles in game and play. The only difference is that in the case of Anand, he is doing it in the role of a professional animator in a software company, Pharaoh Solutions, at Kochi.
In a field of animation that requires lot of expertise and training, Anand has already made a mark with 2 animation movies he did for an animation CD brought out by a leading Malayalam daily. One begins to appreciate his proficiency from the fact that the professionals who worked in that project were some of the best animators of Kerala. In addition, he has done a game and a few animation movies using ‘Flash’.
Anand, who has not been in the forefront in studies, has already received good offers from animation studios. However, his father Sudhir Babu would prefer that Anand takes up a job only after completing Plus 2.
