Naseeb of Chitrasala, Thirur is likely to agree with the dictum that ‘much wisdom is much grief and he that increases knowledge increases sorrow’.  For he has had the misfortune of seeing the misuse of his innovative techniques landing his students in trouble.

Naseeb’s contribution has been the invention of about 20 innovative products including low cost screen-printing, rubber seal making, lamination etc.  He not only invented these products and processes, but also taught the same to an estimated 20000 students during the past 25 years.  About 4000 units based on his training are functioning in this field throughout Kerala.

Analysing the drawbacks of the present mode of screen-printing, he made the process simple and innovative.  Thus with an initial investment of approximately Rs.500 one could start a unit.  Another innovative product is instant lamination without using machinery.  This too costs only less than Rs.500

A third innovative product is rubber seal production without machinery, electricity or technical knowledge.  All that are required include 2 plain glasses, 2 paper clips, polymer and sunlight.  If these are available, it hardly takes 6 minutes to make a seal.

It is this last product, which is tempting his former disciples to use it for illegal purposes.
