By locating the rightful owners and returning the bag containing gold ornaments worth almost Rs.1 lakh forgotten in his autorickshaw by a customer, T.Johny has become a model of honesty and right action at the right time.
K.N.Krishna Moorthy and his family from Bangalore had engaged his auto from Kesavadasapuram to Thampanoor. After the family got down from the auto at Thampanoor, it was the next passenger who pointed out the unattended bag in the back seat. Seeing the key of a Thampanoor-based hotel in the bag, Johny located the Moorthy family and gave them the bag.
The bag contained a camera costing Rs.9000, 2 chains costing Rs.20000 and 10000, 2 rings of 5 sovereigns, and other golden ornaments.
