His academic qualification may be only 10th standard but his innovations range from calendar for 1400 years to ‘all cool fan’ that can provide air all around the room. Muhammed Khan, who runs his own business at Balaramapuram, Chalai and Veli in Thiruvananthapuram, is the unlikely innovator who has to his credit diverse ideas brought to fruition.
46-year-old Khan had earlier brought out 20000 copies of a calendar for 505 years from 1700 A.D to 2204 A.D. He is ready to publish the new calendar if someone comes to sponsor the new one-sheet calendar.
His other inventions include ‘Alchoholic Watch’ that can spot and hoot when an inebriated person approaches and a more versatile pack of playing cards. The new playing card has been submitted for patent.
