More than the prospective students who will use their software program, perhaps it is the real life frogs that will be thankful to Jiju Thomas and Priya.  For the engineer-couple have brought out a ‘digital frog dissection’ program that can do away with the scalpel in the lab.

Using the mouse, the students can dissect the frog on the screen.  There is succinct explanation about each stage of the dissection.  As each stage of dissection unfolds, dialogue boxes will open, explaining the part being dissected.  They have used graphics that come close to the reality. Besides, the software throws light on different parts of the frog like skin, muscles, respiratory system, alimentary canal etc.

With the vision to provide a never-tiring virtual teacher to the students, they have founded ‘Learnware’, a company that has educational software as its domain.  A classroom learning experience of 1 hour can be made possible in 15 minutes by using computer-based learning.

Learnware is developing e-lab that will make it possible to virtually carry out costly chemical experiments any number of times.  Besides one could design experiments according to one’s imagination.

The program to equip the students to face the entrance exam is another product from Learnware.  Besides animated lessons, the program makes it possible to experiment too.  It has modules for music and yoga that can help students focus their attention on studies.
