If Sajim had his way, motor cycles would run on the mixed fuel of diesel and petrol and give a mileage of 90km per litre.

20-year-old , who had earlier fabricated an autorickshaw on his own at the age of 17, had purchased a moped engine from a waste store.  Using this engine, he had built a new body by purchasing spare parts.  He then completed the electrical works and painting himself.  The bike, which cost Rs.1500, has been running for the last 4 months without any complaint.  The mixed fuel is fed in the ratio 70% diesel and 30% petrol.

Sajim, who is a student of Chullimanoor ITC, had fabricated the autorickshaw on his own.  The wheels were made of wood and 3 persons could travel in it. He used it for 3 years before it fell apart.

Battery operated fishing device and collar pin mike are other items created by him.  Among them the collar pin mike hardly costs Rs.150.  Son of E.Salahudeen, teacher at U.P.School, Peringamala, Sajim has more such creative ideas in his mind.
