Aruna
Nair, a student of A level (equivalent to Plus 2) from Wales has won
the 1st prize in the Christopher Tower poetry contest for
school and college students of England, organised by the Christ Church
College of Oxford University.
Her
winning entry, ‘The Passport’ will fetch the 18-year-old Aruna £1500
and her school £500.
She
had just obtained admission to a course in law from Oxford University when
this prize from the University came her way.
