He is certainly differently talented.  11-year-old Krishnanunni Sivan, a deaf and dumb student of Class 6 at St.Clair Badhira Vidyalayam, Manikyamangalam, can drive any vehicle from mobike to giant tipper or JCB.  He demonstrated his control over these machines at a public performance in Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium at Kaloor.

Krishnanunni, son of R.K.Sivan and Sheeba, Aluva, has indulged in driving since the age of 5 and became a perfect driver by the age of 9.  And his effort is all set to enter the Guinness Book of Records.

His interests do not confine to driving alone.  Photography, videography, glass painting, metal embossing, drawing, painting… his interests are endless, says his father.  His paintings and other works were also exhibited at the stadium.

He loves imitating the movements of celebrities and he did perform on the stage before getting behind the wheels.  He is an enthusiastic roller-skater and to top it all, is the topper in the exams.

“He has got tremendous grasping power and new things always attract his curiosity,” says his class teacher Sr.Suma, while headmistress Sr Fincitta adds: “We recognize individual talents and promote them in our school but in Unni’s case it was different.  In the beginning we were a bit scared to allow him to drive.  But his parents and relatives always had faith in him and encouraged him.”
