In the
event of any vehicle fire, the threat of explosion of fuel tank looms
large. Not only vehicles, but other
installations etc. could also be prone to this type of threat, either
by
accident, military action or fire. Now a
Malayali startup based in Thane, Maharashtra has come up with a
patented
solution to take care of such eventualities.
This
innovation by Atoms, the startup of Vinod Menon, Ajit Kumar TP and Anil
Nair
has recently won the innovative start up award constituted by the
National
Startup Mission in the safety and security category.
According
to the company, their solutions address explosions based on flammable
liquids
and vapours like diesel, petrol, kerosine, LPG, aviation turbo fuel,
ethanol
and propane gas, among others.
According to the company, they have honed the solution after 10 years of research.
