REMYA: WOMAN CONSTRAINED FOR MONEY RETURNS CASH BUNDLE FOUND

Remya, Villanchira, Srinipuram, Erumeli

Even though she was trying frantically to source funds for her husband’s treatment, she did not waver in her resolve not to slyly own someone else’s money she found lying on the road.  Remya of Villanchira, Srinipuram is the honest wayfarer who turned over the money to the police station at Erumeli.

On finding ₹8500 by the roadside, she immediately informed the nearby shop and later handed it over to the police station.  The money belonged to Abdul Kareem of Irumboonnikkara, who had brought it to hand it over to a relative.  It was only after a few hours that he came to know of the loss of money secured around his waist.  After searching at many places in Erumeli Junction, he came to know that the money had been handed over to the police station.

Later he came to the police station and collected the lost cash.
